Urgent – change of venue and Rabbi for this Shabbat

We have changed our venue for this Shabbat, for the morning service on Saturday 10 September 2016. It will now be held in Ledbury Community Centre,  Lawnside Road, Ledbury HR8 2AE.

Please tell anyone else you know who is planning to attend.

Parking is next door, which is a pay and display car park.
We also have a visiting Rabbi to lead our service: Rabbi Michael Standfield.   The service will start at 11.00.  I am pleased to tell you that Rabbi Michael Standfield has agreed to lead a study session for us at 10.00 on Shabbat morning prior to the service. The topic will be the period of preparation for the High Holydays, but as always, this is  an opportunity to meet and discuss with the Rabbi more informally, and learn something of value.

As usual, we will have a light buffet lunch together after the service, so please bring a contribution, vegetarian or permitted fish only please.
You can see he is a very experienced and interesting Rabbi, so we should try and support this service.
We will also be collecting food for our food banks in Malvern and Hereford, so please bring contributions with you if possible. Search food bank on this website for a list of items particularly welcome.
Finally, for those who knew Ralph Eskenasi, this will also be an opportunity to say Kaddish for him.
We look forward to seeing those of you who can make it at 10.00 at Ledbury Community Centre.  Remember to allow enough time for parking,  including the  light buffet as usual after the service.
Finally, apologies for all these last minute arrangements, as we have had to change both service leader and venue at short notice, but hope this will be a successful morning.
